It's funny, driving through town last night, there were lights and sirens *everywhere*. A huge gathering of responders at a grocery store, and several traffic stops. Had to pull over for a fire truck later. Then I found out there was a drive-by in a different area of town and that doesn't really happen here.
I think this has a lot to do with the Sun's ingress of Aries during the eclipse portal. It's starting with a bang for sure.
We also have had flooding/plumbing issues off and on here, and I thought it might be eclipse stuff. But all of our events have been well outside eclipse windows. I realized later that they more closely followed Saturn and Mars doing their Rx shuffle and aspecting each other from water signs.
Yeah, it's so hard to sift through the overlapping planetary influences right now. I've been calling this period the "Neptune Event Horizon" with some friends as a shorthand of saying "everything is confusing and no one knows what's going on."
I find the entire bardo period between eclipses can have eclipse-like effects and events, though it's always strongest right around the actual eclipses of course. Praying for us to all hang on for another week and see what happens on the other side.
